Collecting personal data

We understand that you take care of your personal data very carefully and we will do our utmost best to ensure that your personal data is safe, but note that by visiting our website you agree to our privacy policy as described in the privacy policy and GDRP document. We are a European company and because of that we are obliged to meet GDPR standards and European and Belgian law. If you have the feeling that we do not threat your data as accordance to the GDPR rules please send an email to dierik.liagre @avaris.com with your remarks. 

We hold the responsibility to change the privacy policy at any time. The privacy policy on our website is the latest verion of our policy.

Apps and third party websites 

We sometimes use third party websites and apps and we make try to make sure that they are compliant with our privacy statement but this privacy statement does not cover these third party apps and websites. We cannot held responsible for these third party websites and apps. Although we do not control these third party apps and websites we will take actions if we discover these websites and apps are not working according to our privacy statement.

Appointment of a Data Protection Officer

We ensure that we appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who oversees how our organization collects and processes personal data. The GDPR includes specific tasks that a DPO needs to do, such as conducting data protection impact assessments when your organization changes how it collects and processes personal data. Processing GDPR data requests

If you have any questions on which data we have of you please send us an email to dierik.liagre@Avaris.be m and we will come back to you with all the relevant data. We will provide you with a copy of your personal data in a common, easily readable, portable format. If you want us to remove all of your personal data please send us an email to dierik.liagre@avaris.be  with your request. We have a data register and we will inform you how we store your details. 

Use of your personal information

Candidates:

The personal information that Avaris BV may collect might include your full name, username, password, email address, age, date of birth, gender, address, phone number, , personal preferences, and any other personal information that you choose to include in your profile summary, or in other communications to Avaris BV .

By aplying for a job you agree that we can store you full contact details and that we can use your details to take contact with you in the way you prefer. This includes all applications and therefore applies to interim candidates, freelancers, independant contractors and appplicats searching for a permanent opportunity.

By agreeing to our privacy statement you also give permisson to store your personal data for an inlimited amount of time unless you personally request to erase, change, or delete data.

Every 3 year we will ask you by mail if we can keep storing your data.

Why do we store your details?

Given the nature of our Recruiting activities, we need to process data in order to work with you on possible job opportunities. Avaris BV has a legitimate interest in processing personal data during the recruitment process and for keeping records of the process. Processing data from job applicants allows us to manage the recruitment process, assess and confirm a candidate’s suitability for employment. If your application is unsuccessful, WorldBridge Partners may keep your personal data on file in case there are future employment opportunities for which you may be suited. You are free to withdraw your consent at any time.

Use of an ATS

Avaris BV uses an ATS to track applications, send emails, and collect feedback. We control the messages being send and we control the applications. We will not put you forward for a mission if we don’t have you specific consent to be represented. Avaris BV uses cookies.

The use of Google Analytics and tag manager

Avaris BV.com and subsedaries uses Google Analytics, a web analytics tool that helps website owners understand how visitors engage with their website, offered by Google Inc. Google products uses “cookies” to help analyze the website and how users use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your personal or business IP-adress) is transferred again to Google and stored by Google on their servers.. If this information is sold by Google to third party’s then this is out of our control and Google will be held responsible and not Avaris BV.com or AvarisGCV.
